One of my favorite things about Japan was that you could be in the craziest parts of the city, turn a corner and there would be temples and places of rest and meditation. I remember just being in awe over the fact that I was even there and how fascinated I was with their culture. They have no shortage of idols there, and they make for great photography subjects.

Most of the time we had no idea what we were eating. A lot of dice rolling and just hoping we picked the right thing based on the pictures. Definitely led to some interesting meals.
